The Motor Speech Difference

At times, children with speech challenges don’t respond to the usual speech therapy methods which focus on learning speech by copying the therapist using auditory and visual cues.  These children often need to start at the sensory motor level.  Some might have underlying problems in the motor system while others might have a diagnosis making it difficult for them to learn using their auditory and visual systems.  Some might be non-verbal and cannot even get started.  This is what makes us different.  Below are the services and specialties that we incorporate into speech therapy that make us different.
